Firm Vidira produced a special kit for fixing the door of the inspection opening with magnets.
How being installed?
- Determine the location of the inspection hole so that it only includes whole tiles and friezes, while it must be functional and convenient to service the plumbing hidden behind it.
- Corners in the joints with adjustable magnets and hanging devices are placed in the desired joint of the tile (until the tile adhesive has hardened), the counter elements are glued to the cover. Place the magnets at the two upper ends of the opening while gluing the tiles that surround it, observing the rule that both should be in the same line. If you fail, don't worry, usually the locations of the magnets can be adjusted within small limits in the direction perpendicular to the wall. Corrections are made after the solution has completely hardened.
- After making sure you have the dimensions of the opening, using quick-set silicone and pieces of tile, join the stacked cover. Let it dry.
- Place the cover over the opening and mark the locations of the magnets. Glue the metal plates from the kits to the marked places on the back of the cover with silicone
- The lid is made of waterproof plasterboard, on which the faience tiles or lining from the interior of the bathroom are glued with glue. - the lids can be made of any material - such as tiles, marble, granite, mirror, etc.
- The size of the cover must be 15x45 cm, that is, up to 0.5 sq.m. and weight up to 10kg
